Is Your Home Covered for What It Would Cost to Rebuild?

Many homeowners assume their policy will fully cover their home if it’s destroyed. The truth is that it depends on whether you have replacement cost coverage.

Replacement cost coverage pays what it would actually cost to rebuild your home today using current material and labor prices, not what you originally paid for it, and not the depreciated value.

With construction costs fluctuating and labor shortages impacting rebuild prices, having the right limits in place is more important than ever. If your coverage is too low, you could be left paying the difference out of pocket.

If you haven’t reviewed your dwelling limits recently, I’d be happy to take a quick look and make sure you’re properly protected.

Let me know if you'd like me to review your policy.
