80 years of serving Baton Rouge.

Generations of families. A legacy of trust. Fourrier Agency, Inc. has been a fixture of the Baton Rouge community since 1946: independent, family-owned, and Louisiana through and through.

Built by Larry Fourrier. Carried forward by his family.

In 1946, Larry Fourrier founded what would become Fourrier Agency, Inc. on a simple idea: an insurance agent’s job is to look out for the client, not the carrier. His work ethic and devotion to the people he served set the standard the agency still holds itself to.

Decades later, that standard is upheld by the next generations of the Fourrier family and a team of dedicated agents who’ve made Baton Rouge home. We’re still independent, still local, and still in the business of long-term relationships, not one-time sales.

“His work ethic, devotion to clients, and leadership in the community played an instrumental role in developing the proper relationship that must exist between an agent and their client.”
